This site is dedicated to our family and many friends who have encouraged and inspired us over the past 25 years.
Since 1983 there has been a "Booher Family Band," made up of members of the Michael Booher family. During the first seven years of this musical journey, the Booher grandparents, Chuck and Dorothy, were along. In 1990 the Booher Family was chosen National Amateur Music Family by the American Music Conference in Chicago. Two years later the family purchased a converted MCI bus, and the rest is history. Equipped with a kitchen and dining area, bathroom with full sized shower, bunks and beds enough to sleep six comfortably (we traveled with 10 at first), our trusty "Home on the Range," as we affectionately called it, took us from West to East in the U.S., and north to Canada. It was a wonderful learning experience.
In 1998 we opened up the Diamond B Chuckwagon in Tumalo, near Bend in Central Oregon, and our family touring days were over. For the next six years we served and entertained the public. This was a very rewarding and fun experience. We do miss all of our high desert friends.
Whether we were performing on the road, or later at our chuckwagon, we met thousands of great people, and made many lifelong friends.
We want to stay in touch with all of you who we have met along the way. It is our hope that this website will help us do so. May God Bless You All.
